I searched through the forum and didn't exactly see this problem. I'm following the wiki installation guide and installing on CentOS5.3 when I 'yum install netfpga-base' i get
netfpga-base-1.2.5_2-_CentOS5.i386 from netfpga has depsolving problems
--> Missing Dependency: jdk >= 1.6.0 is needed by package netfpga-base-1.2.5_2-_CentOS5.i386 (netfpga)
netfpga-base-1.2.5_2-_CentOS5.i386 from netfpga has depsolving problems
--> Missing Dependency: jdk >= 1.6.0 is needed by package netfpga-base-1.2.5_2-_CentOS5.i386 (netfpga)
Error: Missing Dependency: jdk >= 1.6.0 is needed by package netfpga-base-1.2.5_2-_CentOS5.i386 (netfpga)
There is no option for me to install the dependencies. Any suggestions? Is this why I'm not having the ability to do the next step with NF2
Did you go through the process of installing Java as described in the Wiki linked below?

If you run 'yum list | grep jdk', what do you get?

Hello,
I think that is the problem you are having. The package is checking for 'jdk-1.6.0_06' ore greater not 'java-1.6.0-openjdk'. On the machines I administer 'java-1.6.0-openjdk' is not even installed.
The next release of the NetFPGA code will have the Java code as a seperate project, to allow the rest of the packages to install regardless of the Java install. This would also allow users to option of installing the Java GUI only if they would like to use it.
Can you go through the process of installing the JDK from SUN as described in the Guide and let me know of that fixes the issue?
Thanks.

Thanks Adam, that did the trick!! There was an error later which was covered earlier in the forum with the installation of kernel-PAE-devel.i686

Hello there,
I am having the same problem as you.
Where did you download the file "iperf-2.7.4tar.gz" ?
I could not find it on the download directory.
Hello,
Why are you looking for iperf-2.7.4tar.gz?
