I'm pleased to announce the immediate availability of version 1.1.0 of the packet generator. (Currently only the .tar.gz version is available; an RPM package should be available soon.)
The new version of the packet generator works with the NetFPGA 2.1.0 base package. Changes in this release are:
Improvements:
Supports loading of headers only into SRAM. Packets can be padded upon
tranmission to a per-packet-specified length.
Received packets dropped by default on ports not being captured.
(Necessary when transmitting and receiving at maximum data rate on all
four ports to overcome limitation in output queues.)
Enable capturing without transmission.
Bug fixes:
Fix usec calculation when run in nanoseconds mode
Visit the packet generator website (http://netfpga.org/foswiki/bin/view/NetFPGA/OneGig/PacketGenerator) for more information and to download the release.
