Progress on Reference NIC Testing

• OS: RHEL 4.0
• Hardware arrived in November 2007
• Hardware passed self test on 15th Nov. 2007
• Date that hardware passed NIC regression test : 20th Nov. 2007
• Date that hardware was synthesized: 20th Nov. 2007
• Date that NIC performed ping: 20th Nov. 2007
  • Issues: I am unable to perform ping all the time. Sometimes ping works and sometimes not. Then have to reprogram the NIC again and start over.

Progress on Reference Router Testing

• Date that Hardware and Software Tested (Step 16):5th-Dec-2007
  • Issues: 1- All the tests are not PASSED every time. I have to do multiple runs to get them passed. My count for hardware tests has so far been 4 successful tests out of 12 in one go. 2- One of the gui_scone tests,named test_port_config_table, need the router.bit file which is not there by default so the test gets failed. As a solution on can place router.bit file in test_port_config_table folder.(packaging issue).
